Second Keynote Presentation: E-Services, Virtual Legal Advisors, and Enabling Technologies: An Australian Perspective
Elizabeth Broderick heads the Legal Technology Group at 750-lawyer Blake Dawson Waldron. Her group has recently won the Australian Information Industy Association (AIIA) 1999 National Awards for Excellence in IT for their eDiscover application. In 1999 they were runner up in the Victorian Law Institute Awards for Emerging Technology. They also won the 1997 UK Lawyer Awards for Best Use of IT the 1997 NSW Law Society awards for the Best Use of Existing Technology. Ms. Broderick is integrally involved in the development of the Firm's dot.com strategy.
