Facility Master II version 6, from COMSEC, is a time scheduling system that allows organizations with extensive scheduling needs to reserve rooms, activities, resources or appointments. It permits the entry, update and retrieval of reservation information for up to 400 facilities, including equipment, resources and services. It also permits the user to schedule any special setups, services or resources at the same time as well as compute charges for a reservation.

It allows time to be billed by project, job code, and by client. It also allows multiple users to use the program over a network. Administrators may also setup the security option so that users can see and edit only their own time data, the company says.

IPCheck 2.9, from Paessler Tools, is a server uptime/downtime monitoring application. It warns Webmasters with a pop-up window; and can send messages across the network; play a sound file; issue warning e-mail; reboot the machine; and send notifications to cell phones and pagers. It also logs all results into a log file, which can be accessed at any time and displayed in a graph format, the company says. It runs under Windows 95/98/2000/ME.

It uses a custom algorithm to analyze e-mail to determine if an e-mail was sent by an individual via a bulk e-mail program. It includes a built-in Visual Basic Script detector.

BroadPage 3.2, from BroadPage Corp., is a multi-page browser for Windows that increases productivity by helping manage navigation and browsing of multiple Web pages, folders and files. It provides both tabbed and tiled multi-pane views which let's the user manage and arrange as many as 100 pages at a time and create new windows by grabbing and dragging window borders.
New features include docking toolbars and tab bars that can be positioned at either the top or the bottom of the main window, automatic form completion, a new link bar, integration with download managers, guide page customization, keyboard shortcuts, print preview and tab enhancements, and others.
