Oslo's Tandberg Data ASA has agreed to merge its wholly owned subsidiary Tandberg Data Inc., of Simi Valley, Calif., with LAND-5 Corp., of San Diego. Tandberg Data Inc. will gain network attached data storage technology, including a family of NAS appliance products to be launched in Q2 2002.

Chicago-based Wolters Kluwer North America has acquired New York's National Media Technologies Inc., a provider of digital document conversion and filing services for securities compliance. NMT will become part of CCH Inc., in Riverwoods, Ill., a provider of tax, securities and business law information and software.
