Tandberg Gets...

Oslo's Tandberg Data ASA has agreed to merge its wholly owned subsidiary Tandberg Data Inc., of Simi Valley, Calif., with LAND-5 Corp., of San Diego. Tandberg Data Inc. will gain network attached data storage technology, including a family of NAS appliance products to be launched in Q2 2002.

San Diego's Captiva Software Corp. and San Jose's ActionPoint Inc. have announced plans to merge. The combined company offers structured forms, applications and claims, as well as unstructured documents, such as correspondence and reports.

Chicago-based Wolters Kluwer North America has acquired New York's National Media Technologies Inc., a provider of digital document conversion and filing services for securities compliance. NMT will become part of CCH Inc., in Riverwoods, Ill., a provider of tax, securities and business law information and software.
