iManage Inc. , of Foster City, Calif., has debuted iManage WorkSite MP (multiple platform). It combines document management, collaboration, workflow, and portal access in a Java-based system that operates across Windows NT, Linux, and Solaris platforms.

It includes four components: WorkDocs MP provides Web-based document management; WorkTeam MP is a collaboration application that provides online workspaces; WorkRoute MP is a workflow program; and WorkPortal MP is a portal application.

MacroSuite: New York City's SoftWise Consulting Services Inc. announces that its flagship product, MacroSuite, now integrates with World Software Corp.'s WORLDOX Document Management System, to streamline and standardize the document creation process for attorneys. The integration reduces time spent creating standardized documents such as letters, memos, and fax cover sheets.

* Ascent Capture 5.5, a document and data capture application newly featuring the RecoStar character recognition engine from German-based Océ Printing Systems GmbH.

* Ascent Capture Internet Server 5.5, which enables distributed document scanning.

* Ascent Ricochet is a new Web browser/Java-based scanning product for remote capture applications.

* Kofax and Rochester, N.Y.'s Xerox Corp. have integrated the Xerox Document Centre multifunction systems with Kofax's Ascent Ricochet document capture software.
