Messaging: VeriSign Inc., of Mountain View, Calif., has announced the release of a secure messaging and document delivery package for small, medium and large organizations.
The new SecureExpress incorporates VeriSign's authentication services, including its managed PKI security tools, digital signaure, encryption and roaming technology. Developed in partnership with Slam Dunk Networks, it helps firms send confidential communications over the Web.

Elite API: Elite Information Systems Inc., of Los Angeles, has introduced its first Web Services Application Program Interface, designed to streamline integration of the company's practice and financial suite with third-party applications. The service enhances Elite's existing program interface tool, by incorporating Microsoft Corp.'s Simple Object Access Protocol and .NET technology, it reports.

Visitors can now download a free, fully functional trial version of the company's Concordance litigation software, and Opticon imaging program. The site also includes a "Getting Started" guide and an introduction to the company.

Stay Connected! 4.0: InKline Global Products, of Incline Village, Nev., has released the latest version of its popular Windows utility that prevents "time-outs" and disconnects from ISP services such as America Online.
It features Auto NetSense, to automatically activates the service when a connection is detected, and Auto Launch, to automatically connect users to the Internet whenever the computer is started.
The new program supports Windows XP and NetZero v. 4.1.0, says InKline. Other features include improved settings for MSN, and all language support for AOL.
