LAW FIRMS looking for a source of business addresses, company information and location mapping capabilities have a new option in ProfitZone, a new Windows-based CD-ROM software application that combines electronic mapping software with a database of more than 10 billion businesses, according to Database America Companies of Montvale, N.J.
The new desktop tool is a joint effort between Database and Etak Information Group, a business unit of News Corp.'s mapping company, Etak Inc. The program, available in Windows 3.1, offers data that can be exported into PC spreadsheets and databases. Data can be imported from other databases and linked to ProfitZone's mapping capabilities.
