New Graphics Tool Enlivens Reports

LAW FIRMS seeking to dress up presentation materials with more than clip art have a new option in Compadre, described by Three D Graphics as the first intelligent-content CD-ROM designed specifically to enhance Microsoft's PowerPoint for Windows 95. Compadre, according to the Pacific Palisades, Calif., firm offers the following features:

152 tiling textures, each of which is 128-by-128 pixels and is offered in both a light and dark variation.

35 music clips for use as transition sounds or as the underlying presentation music.

96 different sound effects, provided in WAV format.

Presentation design templates, each of which has two background masters: a Title slide and a Presentation Body slide.

23 video clips, each of which is four to 15 seconds in length.

1,400 multimedia buttons that come with and without button graphic. The blank buttons can be customized by adding user-defined text or graphics.

180 bitmap backgrounds in three formats as Windows, .BMP files.
