LAWYERS looking for a way to track time while they are out of the office have a new option in Prosoft Corporation's Carpe Diem Mobile for Windows. The software is an automated time reporting application that the Dallas company says was designed and optimized specifically for professionals who use a notebook computer while away from the office.
Using CDMobile, lawyers can synchronize time and expense data between a networked PC and their portable computers, according to Prosoft.
The software is fully integrated with, and identical in form and functionality to, ProSoft's existing network-based time reporting products. This feature, the company explains, allows Carpe Diem users to record their time the same way no matter where they are--at home, on a plane or in their offices.
