FLIP Program Does Labels on Windows

FLIP 2.0 for Windows--case management software that creates an intake questionnaire, prints an assortment of labels, a new client-matter memo, three mailing lists, and various reports--is now available in a Windows version from Excelsior-Legal, Inc., of New York. The inexpensive program also offers case notes, a calendar, and a diary.

The system creates self-adhesive labels for Rolodex files, index cards, telephone books, folders, file jackets, docket files, computer disks, and accounting files, according to the company.

The program starts with the intake of a new matter and rearranges the client name, address, telephone numbers, matter title, responsible and opposing attorneys' addresses and telephone numbers to print 20 labels on a 8.5 inch-by-11-inch die cut sheet. The program also includes 12 built-in memos for routine matters such as transmittal memoranda and appointment confirmations, according to Excelsior-Legal.

The program, the publisher reports, automatically addresses FLIP memos to clients an opposing counsel for easy mailing using window envelopes.
