UCC KWIK DOC has announced that the new Windows versions of the software package that carries its name also automates the production of completed official UCC forms 1 and 3 for all states. The program, according to the Palm Beach, Fla., company is the only DOS or Windows-based UCC production system whose form has been approved in 49 states.
Lawyers using the software answer a few questions, and then UCC KWIK DOC prints out a completed, official form, the publisher reports.
The program includes a calendaring system that advises the user when a continuation statement is due. The warning takes the form of a flashing message that a continuation should be filed. The message is posted six months before expiration and continues to flash reminders until the lawyer tells the machine that a reminder is no longer necessary.
