CORNERSTONE Imaging, Inc., has announced the addition of the Color 21/88 to its family of color display subsystems. The new unit, according to the San Jose, Calif., firm, was designed for intense document viewing. It provides 1,600-by-1,200 resolution at a refresh rate of 88 Hz.
The Color 21/88 also offers a .27 mm dot pitch (.22 mm horizontal) within a 395 mm-by-295 mm viewing area and a shadow mask design featuring more tightly spaced holes than the company's earlier models. The new display has digital controls that, combined with on-screen display, are said to allow users to adjust display height, width, centering, tilt, geometry, contrast, and brightness.
