WinFlow Creates Charts, Graphics

LAWYERS, law firm administrators and in-house counsel looking for a tool to help them create flowcharts, organization charts, work flow diagrams, schematics and other kinds of charts and diagrams have a new option available in WinFlow from Mainstay of Camarillo, Calif. The program is the Windows equivalent of the company's Macintosh application, MacFlow.

The software places pre-drawn symbols on a floating palette. The symbols are dragged from the palette and dropped into a chart area. Dragging between two symbols connects them with lines that stay connected when symbols are moved.

The program, according to Mainstay, can handle complex diagram needs with such features as nested sub charts and file linking, and also includes features such as user-definable line and arrowhead styles and sets of intelligent symbols.
