Dataflight Unveils

Enhanced Version

CONCORDANCE, a litigation support database manager with a search engine that allows lawyers to search and tag records according to legal strategy is now available in an enhanced version, Concordance v5.43 for Windows. As described by Dataflight Software, Inc., of Los Angeles, the latest version allows lawyers to retrieve information instantly by searching for words, phrases, or combinations of words. The program is said to work the way attorneys do--by searching multiple databases simultaneously so that information can be accessed immediately during a deposition or cross examination, or to cull indexes and provide document production under strict deadlines.

Concordance also searches for synonym substitutions to key words and utilizes fuzzy logic to locate key word even if they are misspelled. The displayed results, Dataflight reports, show users both what was found and why it was found. Additional sort functions allow lawyers to re-sort data in chronological order to create timeliness. An exploded sort feature permits searches for more than one field at a time, according to the company.
