LAW FIRMS looking for a way to speed management information to their partners' desks may want to consider Elite for Windows 2.1 software. The application's intuitive Windows Inquiry module, according to Elite Information Systems of Los Angeles, lets lawyers view up-to-the-minute statistics on client and matter files.
The system's Event Driven Reporting Module monitors the Elite Billing System and automatically sends e-mail messages to lawyers and management committee members when a firm-defined event--matter budget thresholds, payments, delinquencies or aggregate work in progress--occurs.
The new version also permits CD-based user documentation to be utilized in conjunction with Elite for Windows.
