THE VISUAL Pyramid System for Windows, a financial management tool for law firms that includes task-based budgeting and billing and the ability for law firms to design complex billing products has been released by ASA Legal Systems of Blue Bell, Penn.
The software suite integrates time and billing, accounts payable, general ledger, conflict, docket, cost recapture, report writer, PC time, and executive information systems.
The new Windows version operates on a networked server under Windows 3.1, Windows NT, and Windows 95. The program is built on Microsoft Visual FoxPro, a 32-bit object-oriented development tool and database.
According to ASA, it is the first software systems company serving lawyers to use FoxPro for a financial management product. Third-party integrated products include FastTrack Records Management, MiniSoft A/R Collections, HMDS Marketing, DTE, Carpe Diem, and Excel.
