Cord Device Secures Shared Phone Lines

THE DATA Protector line cord was designed to afford users whose telephones are on a shared line with protection from interruptions or eavesdropping.

The Data Protector, according to Dalco Products of Roberts, Wis., prevents other persons from accessing or interrupting a line that is in use. The device, which comes attached to a telephone cord, prevents devices on the same line from causing interruptions when downloading files, and eavesdropping on calls in progress.

Installation of the device is simple, requiring the user to swap out the existing modular telephone cord with the Data Protector cord. An in-line coupler is provided for users who need additional length in their installations.
