LAWYERS and law firm administrators seeking to create a home page for their firms on the World WideWeb have a new option in Tango, a new development tool released by EveryWare Development Corp. of Mississauga, Ontario.
Described by the company as a visual development tool that integrates databases with Web servers, Tango lets users create Web pages that utilize databases without writing Structured Query Language (SQL) or HyperText Markup Language (HTML) code.
Tango connects Macintosh-based Web servers to Butler SQL, EveryWare's relational database. The company announced that it will release an Open Database Connectivity version of Tango this month. The upcoming release will support connections to databases such as Oracle, Sybase, Informix, FoxPro and other running on Macintosh, Windows, or UNIX platforms.
