Javelan Select Targets Small Firms

CommCenter 4.0 Is Internet Central
SAN DIEGO's Qualcomm Inc. has upped the ante on Internet communications software with the company's recent release of Eudora Pro CommCenter 4.0, which allows legal professionals and others to combine e-mail, voice messaging, real-time chat and telephony functions into a single Communications Center on their desktops.
Announced simultaneously with the release of Eudora Pro E-Mail 4.0, the latest version of Qualcomm's widely used e-mail program, CommCenter 4.0 is designed to allow users to create a virtual office instantly, according to the company. The package includes Eudora Pro E-Mail 4.0 and a set of Internet messaging utilities.
Other key components include jfax.com, which provides fax and voicemail via the user's CommCenter mailbox, Qualcomm reports, and the Eudora Internet Pager by ichat, which lets users page and chat in realtime with anyone.
