AT&T's PocketNet Ensures Connectivity
AT&T has an answer for the lawyer who demands constant connectivity: its new PocketNet wireless service, which the company says is the first voice and data service of its kind to enable mobile users to manage essential information anywhere.
PocketNet integrates wireless e-mail, a personal organizer and Internet content from a cellular phone equipped with specialized "microbrowser" software that retrieves data from Internet/Intranet sites using AT&T's wireless network, the company adds.

CyberOne Lends Service to Smaller Firms
AEL targets the legal market for quick lease-financing via its new Internet site.
SECURING financing for tools that make today's law office cost-efficient for clients and cost-effective for partners may have gotten a bit easier, thanks to CyberOne, a new online lease-finance application program from American Equipment Leasing's Electronic Media Group.
Targeting small-to-midsized law firms nationwide, CyberOne allows lawyers seeking lease-financing to access special, lower lease-financing rates via a password-protected Internet site offering simple instructions on how to obtain a password and quick credit approval, says the Reading, Pa.-based AEL, an autonomous division of European American Bank of Uniondale, N.Y.
