Kodak i50 Captures 20 Pages-Per-Minute

Capable of capturing up to 20 pages-per-minute in black and white, or up to 10 p-p-m in color, the Kodak i50 includes an automatic document feeder and flatbed scanning capability.

Bundled software: document management, text recognition and photo management. ISIS and TWAIN drivers offer built-in user controls to adjust image quality, drop out color for forms processing, and a mode to preview adjusted images. From Eastman Kodak Co.

Addonics USB 2.0

Addonics Technologies Inc. has introduced a USB 2.0 Interface Cable that attaches to all Addonics External CD, DVD, DVD/CD-RW and hard drive kits to increase data transfer rates from the USB 1.1 rate of 1.5 MB-per-second to the USB 2.0 rate of up to 60 MB-per-second. All Addonics USB 2.0 products are compatible with the USB 1.1 standard and will transfer data at the USB 1.1 speed when connected to a USB 1.1 port or peripheral, reports the company.

Riso TC5100

The Riso TC5100 Collatoris a standalone, off-line unit that can collate up to 3,600 sets per hour.

It features three variable speed settings, and collates paper sizes from 5.5 x 8.5 to 11 x 17-inches, and paper weights ranging from 14-pound bond to 110-pound index, says Riso Inc. It has 10 bins and can be combined with a second tower for a total of 20 bins, each of which can be adjusted to suit the type of paper being used.

ViewSonic Corp. has five new LCD monitors:

* ViewPanel VX500is a 15-inch display with a contrast ratio of 400:1 and a native resolution of 1024 x 768 at 75 Hz.

* ViewSonic VP230mb features a 23.1-inch viewable screen, a 4:3 aspect ratio, 1600 x 1200 resolution, and a 160-degree viewing angle. The monitor has a 3x LCD display, includes two three-watt bezel-integrated speakers, and offers analog and DVI-D digital input.

* ViewSonic VP201mb offers a 20.1-inch viewable screen and 1600 x 1200 maximum resolution. PerfectPortrait software allows pivoting between landscape and portrait mode.

* ViewSonic VA500 features a 15-inch viewable screen, and a native resolution of 1024 x 768 at 60 Hz. It also includes integrated speakers.

* ViewSonic VA700 has a 17-inch viewable screen, and a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 at 75 Hz. It also includes integrated speakers,.

Samsung SyncMaster: Samsung Electronics Company Ltd. has unveiled its SyncMaster 210T, a 21.3-inch display for computer or video monitoring.

It supplies a native resolution of 1600 x 1200 at 60 Hz, a contrast ratio of 230:1, and a 160-degree viewing angle. It offers picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture viewing, in several configurations.
