Year In Review: 2000

DID THIS YEAR sail by, or what?

All the worry about Y2K crashes was for naught. Instead, the long-anticipated millennium year was a whirlwind of activity and technology development. Of course, everything was Internet, Internet, Internet! "ASP" (application service provider) became the most-used new acronym; and we saw an explosion of online-ready products and services, from digital cameras to document management suites; time-and-billing options to Web-enabled cell phones. It was a wild year, and 2001 should be even more fun!
