Bridgeway Suite 5.2 Incorporates eCounsel

Bridgeway Software Inc. has released its corporate Application Suite 5.2, which includes "eCounsel" practice management software, and the "Secretariat" corporate secretary automation product.

This integration better ensures data accuracy and security, and reduces data duplication, says Bridgeway. Internet access to the suite is provided through its hosting service, or it can be installed on a company Intranet, it says.

Binder and Sanction II

RealLegal and Verdict Systems have announced the integration of their respective products, RealLegal Binder, a transcript management application, and Sanction II trial presentation software. RealLegal Binder users can create, view and edit media clip segments, and generate TIFF text clips for use in Sanction II. They can also display synchronized text directly in RealLegal Binder's transcript window, and view linked exhibits in Sanction II.

Case Evaluation

Jury Verdict Research's recently updated version of Case Evaluation Software and Basic Settlement Module is now available via Internet. The update includes new data and statistics involving vertebra injuries, gunshot and stab wounds, libel and slander, sexual assault, business negligence, and more.

It helps lawyers calculate a verdict or settlement amount, as well as the chance of a plaintiff verdict based on case factors such as injury and liability situation, amount of medical expenses, lost wages, location of trial, and effect of permanent impairment.

Summation Blaze LG 1.1

Summation Legal Technologies Inc. has introduced the Summation Blaze LG 1.1 product family, litigation support software that now supports remote access to case data via the Internet.

The Blaze LG line includes Summation Blaze LG, Summation Blaze LG Gold, and Summation iBlaze, it says.

The products all include an improved case organizer, with hierarchical date or text sorting. Toolbars offer streamlinined case outlining, and the line now offers tighter integration with CaseVault, Sumamtion's litigation support hosting service, reports the San Francisco-headquartered company.

West Adds Blue Sky Data

West Group has announced that it has enhanced the securities information available on its online legal, tax, accounting and business research service, Westlaw, to include databases containing Blue Sky Statues for each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Each Blue Sky database contains the sections of a state's statutes related to the regulation of securities and commodity futures.

Trust Resource Co. has released TrustUS 2001, a CD-ROM program that offers detailed information compiled by the FDIC on every financial institution offering trust services within the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Guam. Users can access Excel spreadsheet files and view, save, or further manipulate the data on his of her own PC.
