Neoware Systems Inc. has announced a worldwide alliance with IBM Corp., under which it will be the preferred provider of thin client appliance products to IBM and its customers. IBM customers can choose from Neoware thin client appliances based on Windows CE, Windows NT Embedded, Windows XP Embedded and Linux.

LexisNexis has announced an alliance with WhizBang! Labs Inc., whereby LexisNexis will employ WhizBang's "Extraction Framework" to deliver information to users of the LexisNexis Advertising Red Books and Directory of Corporate Affiliations.

WhizBang's Extraction Framework combs these sources for targeted information, extracts relevant data, and drives it to refresh specific records.

Legal Files Software &

Legal Files Software Inc. has become a member of Interface Software Inc.'s Solutions Partner Program. Legal Files develops and markets case and office management software for practice management, litigation support, document assembly and integrated groupware.

Legal Files software now integrates with InterAction, Interface Software's client relationship management system. Legal files customers can export data from InterAction into Legal Files to create name cards, addresses, telephone numbers, Internet addresses and more. Contacts in Legal Files will be harvested from InterAction via a direct database link.

CaseSoft, a division of DecisionQuest, has become a corporate sponsor for the General Practice, Solo & Small Firm section of the American Bar Association. State Capital &

The board of directors and voting representatives of the State Capital Global Law Firm Group has voted to admit four new member firms. They include Washington, D.C.-based Verner, Liipfert, Bernhard, McPherson and Hand, Chartered; Beijing's Lehman, Lee & Xu; Shanghai-based Boss & Young; and Saudi Arabia's Almihdar Law Firm. The State Capital Law Firm Group is an organization of independent firms practicing in their respective state, provincial and other capital cities and major commercial centers.
