WarpLink: Acer NeWeb Corp., of San Jose, has debuted its WarpLink wireless networking kit in Universal Serial Bus (USB) format. Also available in ISA card and PCMCIA card formats, it allows users to connect multiple PCs within a home or small office environment.

DVD-RAM: Pixela Corp., of Osaka, Japan, has debuted a DVD-RAM drive with a USB interface. PX-DVRM/U1 can be connected to both Macintosh and Windows with USB interface, it says.

Accord: Iomega Corp. and UMAX Data Systems Inc. have signed a letter of intent to allow UMAX to offer a USB Clik!drive using Iomega's Clik! technology. The UMAX-branded USB Clik! drive will be a pocket-sized desktop drive with plug-and-play capabilities for use with both Mac and PCs.

ZipCD: Iomega Corp. has introduced its ZipCD external USB CD-ReWriteable drive to allow users to record, create, share and archive up to 650 MB of data on a common CD format. Iomega also debuted its FireWire IEEE 1394 accessory for its Zip 250 MB USB drive, which speeds transfer rates and provide host power.
