Serengeti Inc., the latest incarnation of Seattle's ELF Technologies Inc., has launched Serengeti Tracker, an Internet-based system that helps corporate counsel monitor outside counsel performance online, and reduce outside legal spending.

Firms complete short electronic forms in Serengeti Tracker, which are organized into databases used to generate online reports. Up-to-date reports track outside legal spending compared with budgets, significant developments, areas of exposure, and outside counsel performance.

Mycroft Computing has released TimeCard 3.0, a record-keeping tool that tracks employee time and attendance. It records and calculates regular and overtime hours worked, automatically calculates benefit hours employees earn, and checks whether hours were earned as entered.
