Excalibur Technologies has announced that mega-firm Clifford Chance has chosen Excalibur RetrievalWare as the search product for the firm's global Intranet, which is accessible by more than 6,00 lawyers worldwide. Excalibur RetrievalWare enables users to index and search distributed information resources, including text files, HTML, documents, database tables, in more than 20 languages.
Clifford Chance operates 29 offices in 21 countries.

Neviani Advogados, Borges & Beildeck Advocados, a 40-lawyer firm specializing in corporate law, Internet, intellectual property and antitrust, has obtained Amicus Attorney to manage its growing firm's billing needs, says Gavel & Gown Software.
The Brazil firm is headquartered in Rio de Janiero, with satelitte offices in San Paulo and Brasilia.The software was sold by AmigoLaw, the company's exclusive distributor in South America.

San Francisco-based Morrison & Foerster L.L.P. has licensed the FileSurf records management system from MDY Advanced Technologies Inc., the company reports.
FileSurf provides secure access for employees to search, track and request client records at any time of the day or night. MDY also will integrate MoFo's existing PC DOCS application.

Open Text has announced that Swissair/Sabena Airline Management Partnership and the U.S. Air Force have chosen Livelink as their records management systems.
Livelink uses a Web browser to provide increased access to record, and allows users to administer, create, classify or manage information.
