Houston's DataCert Inc. has been selected to provide legal e-billing services and invoice management for Montvale, N.J.'s Mercedes-Benz U.S.A.
Under the agreement, Mercedes-Benz will use DataCert's ShareDoc/ LEGAL technology to manage the company's electronic billing for its outside law firms.
In addition, DataCert will provide its AIMS technology for Web-based, automated invoice management, the two companies report.

Atlanta's Cingular Wireless has announced that its Xpress Mail BlackBerry Edition has been selected by Boston's Palmer & Dodge L.L.P. for mobile communications. Palmer & Dodge employees will use the Cingular product to send and receive e-mails and view attachments on RIM 957 Wireless Handhelds, while using the existing Microsoft Exchange e-mail system.

West Group's ProLaw Software will provide litigation docketing services for Squire, Sanders & Dempsey. The international firm will use ProLaw's namesake software (which includes Legallex Rules) to help manage global litigation docketing functions among the firms' offices in the U.S., Europe and Asia, it says.
