DataComposer: DynamicVoice has introduced its Web-based transcription service, DataComposer.
The new software suite was debuted at LegalTech Los Angeles, and is designed to help users control and audit the transcription process, providing a secure method for transcribing, workflow visibility, file sharing, document distribution and cost analysis. It automatically merges all data associated with a dictation job into one document, and integrates with VoiceComposer and Enterprise Portable dictation systems and products, says the Lenexa, Ks., company.

Workshare Upgrade: San Francisco-based Workshare Technology has upgraded its document content collaboration service, Workshare Synergy. Version 2.3 helps users to select Microsoft Word documents from a document management system or local file system, and automatically "associate" the file with the Workshare Synergy system. The upgrade also includes enhanced document security, and "Synergy Helper," an HTML-based quick reference guide that can be invoked as a pop-up.
