CURRENT JOB: Senior legal technology consultant and managing partner of The Lawtek Group, L.L.C., San Rafael. I practiced both insurance defense and personal injury litigation for 10 years and then became a legal technologist after my last case that involved more than 50,000 documents to scan, categorize and index for trial. It was a perfect transition! Member of the Law Technology News Editorial Advisory Board.

FAVORITE GADGET: My home theater! Boxlight Cinema 13 high definition projector; 10-foot electronic drop-down screen; Yamaha home theater amplifier with Dolby digital and surround sound.
SECURITY BLANKET: My 22 kWp BP Solarex solar system, Trace Power Inverter, and a 48-volt battery backup for my home office. I have all the electric power I will ever need now and one big battery backup for my entire home.

FAVORITE COMPUTER GAME: Flight Simulator to keep up on my skills as a private pilot. Have already logged in more hours on the simulator than most commercial pilots.

YOUR MOST IMPT TECH ACCOMPLISHMENT IN LAST 12 MONTHS? I hired some programmers outside of Moscow, learned a little Russian, and built LawClip (Web clipping utility).
