Interface Picks Gordon Adams

Gordon Adams
Interface Software Inc. has appointed Gordon Adams as the managing director of the company's London office. Prior to joining Interface, Adams was the sales director for U.K.-based Oce Ltd. He replaces Mitchell Grossbach, who, on temporary assignment, opened the London office in 1999 and managed the startup phase for the Oak Brook, Ill.-based interface.

CourtLink Corp. has named James Klein as director of eFile product management. He will be responsible for analyzing business, product and customer needs, and creating the marketing requirements for all electronic filing products. He joined CourtLink as principal consultant and software designer from SCT Corp. After CourtLink acquired SCT's electronic file management middleware for court management systems.

Prior to SCT, he served as State Superior Court administrator, Superior Court automation coordinator, and regional administrator for the Massachusetts trial court.

Wireless Verticals Inc. has selected Mickey Latz as the director of marketing and business development. Prior to joining Wireless Verticals, Latz was a regional sales manager for Computer Law Systems and Omega Legal Systems. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota.

Terry Otis has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing of CMS OPEN, and Mark Winders has been hired as its director of corporate development, major accounts, reports Solution 6 Holdings Ltd.

Deborah Monroe has been named as general manager of West Group's recently-acquired FindLaw Inc. She previously served as vice president and general manager of West's southern market center. Before joining West Group, she was vice president at Landmark Communications Inc.

Kevin Dolan

ELaw.com announced the addition of Michael Romanies as vice president of marketing and Kevin Dolan as vice president of sales. It has also announced that S.T. Jack Brigham III and Richard Leukart II have joined the company's advisory board. Prior to joining eLaw.com, Romanies was the vice president of marketing for Loislaw.com, while Dolan was vice president and general manager at Bowne & Co.'s Bowne JFS.

Brigham recently retired from his position as senior vice president of corporate affairs and general counsel at the Hewlett-Packard Company. Leukart is currently a partner at Baker & Hostetler L.L.P.

Stephen Schley has been been promoted to president of Minneapolis-based Computer Law Systems Inc. He has been with the company for five years, most recently serving as its marketing director.

SnapNames Inc. has appointed Cameron Powell as vice president of business development, legal and professional services. Prior to joining SnapNames, Powell served in various business development, marketing, general counsel and general management capacities with eLaw.com, TheExecutiveBoard, The Caedmon Agency and Foree Software.

He also served as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington D.C.

SIRSI Corp. has appointed Patrick Sommers as president of the company. Previously, Sommers served as chief operation officer, then later as president, C.E.O., and member of the board of directors for the Dialog Corp.
