Aptus Launches: ASPORA.com has introduced a Web-based contact relationship management system, powered by Scout Solutions' Aptus. It helps firms and corporate law departments manage contact information through any standard Web browser. Users can search for, organize and view information using the service.
Richmond, Va.-based McGuireWoods L.L.P. has also brought aboard Aptus, which is based on Microsoft Corp. technology including its Internet Information Server (IIS), SQL 7.0, COM, and Transaction Server applications. Aptus integrates with desktop software, such as Microsoft's Outlook, it notes.

IRIS Ships: Interface Software Inc. is shipping its InterAction Relationship Intelligence Server, an XML-based application server for delivering relationship intelligence content. The new server can deliver relationship data to various platforms, including Web sites, Intranets, personal data assistants (such as Palm and Blackberry devices) or other wireless devices, says the Oak Brook, Ill. company.
