THE Cyberspace Law Committee of the American Bar Association's Section of Business Law has launched a new CyberSecurity Privacy Task Force to deal with the legal challenges raised by increasing concern over security and privacy in a business context.

The task force will work to identify and interpret the ramifications of new laws, such as the anti-terrorism U.S.A. Patriot Act of 2001.

Barcelona's CenturionSoft, and Madrid's SoftClan have released SoftClan Security Suite, a security and auditing program able to provide Windows 95/98/Me users with protection levels similar to those of Windows NT.

SoftClan Security Suite is completely administered through a single interface, and the on-the-fly monitoring process is transparent and does not alter the operation or speed of the system, the companies report.
