OFFICE TECHNOLOGY: At Cleary, lawyers have a choice of desktop, or IBM T20 or X20 series laptop with docking station. (Most attorneys choose laptops.) Hewlett Packard printers; Compaq servers running Novell 5.2 over Ethernet and WAN between all offices. Our technical environment also includes: Microsoft Office Suite 97, with upgrade to 2000 planned; Lotus Notes/Domino. Information management (including iManage, Interaction, Elite for time-and-billing). We also have practice area forums on our Intranet.

This change was made in part to respond to a focus group study that indicated that this was what our members wanted.
