Hands High Software has upgraded its Trip Deluxe automobile mileage tracking software. Users can track mileage using Palm handheld computers, and create reports in Microsoft Excel. Trip Deluxe records details including the starting/ending mileage and dates; and purpose of the trip.

SoftWired and Xerox Corporation have joined together to produce a wireless-based product, MobileDoc. It helps users browse through large document libraries via wireless devices, and fax and e-mail documents, remotely, from any mobile device, including cell phones, personal digital assistants, and pagers.

Landware has created Pocket Quicken, a mobile companion for Quicken 2000. It runs on Palm IIIx handheld computers, and takes account names, categories and ending balances from your desktop and downloads them into the handheld. Users can assign a PIN to keep data safe.

PocketMail BackFlip

PocketScience Inc., has released the PocketMail BackFlip, a small hardware device that snaps on to the back of Palm organizers, allowing users to send and receive e-mail or fax messages from any landline or wireless phone without the need for a phone jack, cradle or cable.

LCD Projectors

Canon U.S.A. Inc. has debuted three new XGA-resolution LCD projectors.

* The Canon Multimedia Projector LV-7525 is the company's flagship model, and offers a brightness of 2,750 ANSI lumens.

* The Canon Multimedia Projector models LV-7325 and LV-7320 are compact, lightweight Native XGA-compatible models, with exteriors of durable magnesium alloy.

The company also debuted its Canon Digitizer Pointer, which incorporates Canon's AF sensor technology.
