CURRENT POST: Director of practice support for Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe. We have 544 attorneys, (more than 1,400 employees) in 15 national industry and practice groups and 12 offices throughout the United States, and in Hong Kong and Singapore. We also have affiliations in major European cities. OFFICE TECHNOLOGY: Compaq desktops, Dell for laptops, all running Windows NT and Microsoft Office 97. Plan to convert to Windows 2000 this summer.
LAPTOP: Dell Latitude LS. Lightweight for travel, but still plenty of processing power.
HOME SYSTEMS: Dell Dimension 8100 with a wireless network connecting my daughter's PC so she can surf while I work.

The features include: collaborative client Extranets, online conferencing capabilities, Web-based e-mail and Wireless Access Protocol (WAP), which allows access to the Heller Ehrman attorney and office directory through the wireless Web.
