Law Technology News Art Guidelines
Thank you for your press release regarding your new product or service.
Law Technology News accompanies our product announcements with photos or graphics. In most cases, our layout limits art to approximately 2 inches. Therefore, the most effective submissions are clear, clean photographs without distractions in the background. Generally speaking, a "box shot" (where appropriate) will reproduce the most effectively. If no product shot is available, an alternative is your corporate logo.
"Screen shots" (software in use on a computer) are rarely effective in print because of the limited space allocated to each item.
If you are e-mailing your art, please use TIFF, GIF or JPEG format or other format that can be ready by Adobe PhotoShop 5.0. Resolution MUST be a minimum of 300 dpi. All art must be in color. File sizes should be no larger than 4 inches high or wide, whenever possible.
Important: Please label the file with your company name. If you simply label your photo "art" "LTN photo" or the like, it can easily be lost. Also if you could please include your company's website address, it would be greatly appreciated.
If you prefer to overnight or mail slides or photos, please mail them to the address below. Be sure to label the photographs or slides with the name of the product, your company name and contact number, and date. They should be sent to Editor, Law Technology News, American Lawyer Media, 105 Madison Ave. 7th Floor, New York City, N.Y. 10016. Telephone 212.313.9081 or 212.313.9082. Send electronic art to lawtechart@amlaw.com.
Please do not hesitate to e-mail or call if you have any further questions.
Thank you.
