ELF, IKON Decide to Join Forces on ASP

AFTER months of speculation as to whom Don Murray would take to the prom, Seattle-based ELF Technologies Inc. announced that it will dance with IKON Office Solutions. The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding under which ELF's Serengeti application service provider will serve as the platform for delivering "online capabilities" developed by IKON, relating to electronic data repository, litigation support, document scanning, and document discovery and recovery. IKON will transfer to ELF its Web-based Virtual File Room, as well as assets relating to IKON's digital litigation service and electronic data discovery. IKON will receive a non-controlling equity interest in ELF.
