Claire LeDonne Joins Fast Track.
Claire LeDonne has joined Oakland-based Fast Track Litigation Support L.L.C. as director of electronic evidence.
The company converts digital information into custom databases for litigation. She previously was the principal of LeDonne Consulting, and spent 15 years as an information system professional at the University of California, Berkeley. She also holds a masters degree in information science.
Applied Discovery Inc. has added Patrick Gallagher as its chief technology officer. He previously worked at Vitessa, AT&T Wireless Services and Fluke Corp.
The company, based in Bellevue, Wash., creates searchable, secure Web-based files from electronic discovery.
Andrall Pearson and Joseph Hardiman have joined the advisory board of Corpedia L.L.C. The Phoenix-based company focuses on e-learning for Internet-based business and compliance education.
Pearson is chairman and C.E.O. of Tricon Global Restaurants, a restaurant company that owns Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and Kentucky Fried Chicken. He was a tenured professor at Harvard Business School and also now serves on the boards of directors of Kinko's, May Department Stores & Co., and Citigroup.
Hardiman was president and C.E.O. of the National Association of Securities Dealers. He earned his law degree from the University of Maryland and practiced corporate and securities law. He is a private investor in high technology start-up companies.
Greg Ganger of Carnegie Mellon University has joined the technology advisory board of Procom Technology. Ganger is a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon, as well as the head of the University's Data Storage Systems Center and is co-director of CMU's Parallel Data Laboratory
Henry Beck, formerly a partner and head of the information technology and e-commerce practice at Cown Liebowitz & Latman, has joined Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe L.L.P.'s national information technology practice group.
Beck's practice focuses on intellectual property protection and licensing, the transfer of intellectual property assets, and the formation of joint ventures and alliances in the world of information technology, e-commerce and "new media."
He received his Ph.D. from Stanford and graduated from the University of California Los Angeles Law School.
Heller Erhman is a San Francisco-based, 480-attorney firm with offices in nine U.S. cities, plus Hong Kong and Singapore.
Alfredo O'Farrell, a partner at the Argentina's Marval O'Farrell & Mairal, was elected chair of Lex Mundi during its recent annual conference in The Netherlands. Also elected: Lynne Deitch, of Michigan's Butzel Long, as chair-elect; Charles Coward, from Uria & Menedez, of Spain, secretary; Bernard Greer, of Alston & Bird L.L.P., of Atlanta, treasurer; and Robert Furter, of Pestalozzi Gmuer & Patrym of Switzerland, chair-emeritus.
