Editor's Note

HAPPY Halloween! It's hard to believe that fall 2000 is here, with its crisp days. October also brings another jam-packed issue, with reports on the latest products and services, as well as articles on upgrading, outsourcing, imaging, and issues affecting corporate counsel (timed for the American Corporate. Counsel Association meeting in Washington, D.C.). Of course, we also preview LegalTech Dallas.

We're also happy to introduce new members of our Editorial Advisory Board: Catherine Reilly, executive director of New York City's Martin, Clearwater & Bell, served as co-chair of this year's LawNet. Doug Caddell is a familiar name to LTN readers: he regularly writes on topics such as training and dealing with outside counsel. He's the CIO of Milwaukee-based Foley & Lardner.
